This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variant in most applications.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

To install the rotor knife, the product has a drilling for M12 threads.

When attaching the rotor knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

General characteristics:

The rotor knife is 600mm long, 98mm wide and 24mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 42°.
