In the X-variant, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the rotor knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

The rotor knife is 770mm long, 100mm wide and 22mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 50°.
