This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When fitting the rotor knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
