This X-version rotor knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variant in most applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this option, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When attaching the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
