The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the resistance and durability.

The X-option of this component is made of tool steel. This version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears steadily over its lifespan.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The product measures 311mm in length, 80mm in width and 20mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 55°/50°.
