Detailed description

Rotor knife RMCL0240-X0M by CUTMETALL for recycling machines.

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of the product depends largely on the version of the material and cutting geometry.

This item presented is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard variant for most areas of application. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this option, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

It is imperative that the rotor knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The following dimensions are available: 240mm length, 121mm width, 55mm height.

As this rotor knife belongs to the Premium Line, the spare part is produced exclusively in Germany.
