Through the use of various materials and varying the cutting geometry, the component can be configured to the area of application in terms of throughput and durability.

The X-variant of this product is made of tool steel. This cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

General characteristics:

The measures of the spare part are 332mm in length, 100mm in width and 24mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 60°.
