The cutting tool presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard option for most application areas. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When fitting the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The dimensions of the rotor knife are 332mm long, 100mm wide and 24mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 60°.
