In the X-option, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Cutting tools of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When fitting the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
