The cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most application areas. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

This stator knife is 1058mm long, 100mm wide and 10mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 90°.
