The performance of this cutting tool depends predominantly on the variant of the material and shape.

In the X-option, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Spare parts of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
