In the X-option, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
