This stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard option in most application areas.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
