This product shown is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard version for most application areas. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the tool life of the stator knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
