In the X-variation, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
