Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the stator knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.
