In the X-version, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Products of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We underline that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 90°.
