Compatibility with machines:

This stator knife is perfectly suitable for cutting millses from Zerma (Amis).

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of the product depends predominantly on the variant of the material and shape.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-version, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer knife life can be secured. In comparison, however, the stator knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching the stator knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
