This X-option stator knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variation in most areas of application. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Cutting tools of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
