The stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard version in most applications.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
