This spare part shown is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard version for most application scenarios. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
