The performance of this cutting tool depends predominantly on the variation of the material and cutting shape.

This stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard version in most application areas.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
