This stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard option in most applications.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
