In the X-version, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Components of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
