This spare part shown is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard version for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching the stator knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
