This X-variant stator knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most break down applications. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this version, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
