Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting shape, the spare part can be customised to the area of application in terms of throughput and durability.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-version, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer operating time can be secured. In comparison, however, the stator knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to fractures more quickly.

In this variant, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.
