The X-variation of this cutting tool is made of tool steel. This version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The measures of the stator knife are 600mm long, 90mm wide and 20mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 85°.
