The X-version of this product is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

The cutting tool measures 726mm in length, 100mm in width and 22mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°.
