The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well configured to the break down application.

The stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variation in most applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
