This spare part presented is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard version for most areas of application. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this option, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
