The cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard option for most application scenarios. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
