Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the stator knife.

We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
