Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
