The wear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adapted to the application area.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-option and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-variation ideal for utilizations where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this version has a shorter operating time.

In this variant, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The stator knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
