The stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard option in most break down applications.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

In this version, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears steadily over its lifespan.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
